Wire Wipes Wire Wiper Wiping Pads for Removing Excess Zinc for Galvanized Wire Effectively for hot dip galvanizing

Updated: 4 days ago

SUNMAX Wiping pads WP-12H1A16 series wire wiper, also called Zinc pad, wiping pads, wire wipes is made with pure continuous para-aramid yarns for the whole item (both core and outside braiding), and then lubricated with PTFE.

The aramid fiber yarns are with high tenacity and temperature resistance. and the special PTFE impregnation reduces the coefficient of friction and increase the wiping performance.

What is a Wire Wipe?

The wiping system is specifically engineered to provide a commercial grade wire coating by effectively eliminating excess zinc during the galvanization process. This system comprises a clamping mechanism that exerts pressure on two rectangular pads, through which the wire is threaded. The wire diameters typically range from 0.8mm to 8.0mm, encompassing both high and low carbon wires, with coating weights typically falling between 50g/m2 and 120g/m2.
